Grants Available to Help Small Meat Processors, Owlett Says

HARRISBURG – A new grant program, to help with the costs of inspection and certification requirements for businesses that meet the federal definition of “very small meat processor,” is now available, said Rep. Clint Owlett (R-Tioga/Bradford/Potter), a member of the House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee.

Owlett Issues Statement on Passage of 2019-20 State Budget

HARRISBURG – Rep. Clint Owlett (R-Tioga/Bradford/Potter), a member of the House Appropriations Committee, today voted in support of a state budget that prioritizes agriculture, education and putting money aside in the state’s Rainy Day Fund. The budget will spend a total of $33.9 billion dollars, a 1.8% increase over the current fiscal year, and does not contain any new or increased taxes.

Owlett Says $330,379 Awarded to Fire, EMS Companies in 68th District
