Owlett Temporarily Halts Walk-In Service at District Offices
March 17, 2020
HARRISBURG – Following guidelines urged by state Department of Health officials and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Rep. Clint Owlett (R-Tioga/Bradford/Potter) today announced a temporary halt to walk-in services at his district offices in Wellsboro and Troy.
He stressed the offices are still available to serve constituents via phone or internet.
“The health of our residents and our communities is the top priority. I apologize for the inconvenience, but we need to err on the side of caution during his time of uncertainty,” Owlett said. “I anticipate having the office closed to visitors for at least two weeks. We will reassess later in the month if it is necessary to extend the prohibition on visitors.”
Owlett’s offices can be reached online at www.RepOwlett.com or by calling the Wellsboro office at 570-724-1390 or the Troy office at 570-297-3045.
