TROY – Veterans, lawmakers and members of the community will gather on Thursday, Nov. 7, to dedicate the Troy Area Veterans Memorial Bridge in honor of all who have served. The bridge was named under legislation sponsored by Rep. Clint Owlett (R-Tioga/Bradford/Potter).

The public is encouraged to attend the ceremony, which will be held at 1 p.m. at the Troy Vets Club, located at 183 Veterans Drive, Troy.

“Pennsylvania is home to so many men and women who have served our country in the armed forces, and we have been blessed to have many of them call the Northern Tier home,” said Owlett. “These men and women deserve our utmost gratitude and respect. By naming this bridge in their honor, we encourage current and future generations to remember them and appreciate their service and sacrifice.”

The bridge is located on Route 14 in Troy Borough, Bradford County, and runs over Fall Brook
